According to new Barna data, it's practicing Christians... the people sitting in your seats on Sunday morning. 62% of them think AI is making the world a better place, and that's higher than any other group in the study.

And it's not just optimism; nearly half of your congregation has already had a conversation with AI about their faith. They've asked it theological questions, they've had it explain a passage of Scripture, or used it to create devotionals, study materials, and lessons.

Think about that for a minute. People in your church are not just using AI to write emails, they're using it to interpret the Bible (without theological background or critical framework). And in most churches, this happens without a single word from their pastor about any of it.

When we don't address the actual situations people are living in, we're quietly telling them "I don't understand your life." Then you don't just lose influence on the AI question, you lose influence as a voice on every question that feels complicated.
